The family of Carolina Wrens that were so busy building a nest in early August have had success. The female laid 4 eggs on 8-12 and after sitting on them for about 18 days they finally hatched 8-29. Both parents are busy hunting for food and they each bring nice juicy worms to the young on a consistent basis. The nest is on our back deck and they are both used to me being around so I can sit about 10 feet away and get some great observations. Some of the photos of them are below and I'll update later when the chicks have grown a little more.
