December In Kentucky 2016

December in Kentucky this year provided some very strange weather. We had wild temps that ranged from 73, sunny and windy to 2, dark and dreary. The birds flocked to my feeders more this year than ever as they attempted to keep up with the changing temps. It was a challenge for me to keep the feeders full especially on the very cold days but, I managed and the birds have rewarded me with some great shots of them in various positions. I've posted a few of them below.

September in Kentucky

September brought some much needed rain late in the month after going quite some time without any measurable precipitation. The birds that are usually here at this time of year seemed to only appear occasionally. It has been a strange year for sure. Below are some of the birds that visited here during the month
